• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email associated with that Google account.
• Content you upload. Documents, photos, and incident videos you choose to upload, along with titles, notes, and classifications you add to them.
• Legal tracking information. Court dates, deadlines, and other obligations you enter, and reminders generated from them.
• Technical information. Standard device and log information, such as IP address, device type, and app activity, used to operate and secure the service.

• To provide the app’s core features: storing, organizing, and helping you understand your documents, and tracking dates and deadlines.
• To send you in-app reminders about upcoming dates, deadlines, and items needing your attention.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded documents or videos for advertising.

Your information is processed by trusted service providers that host and operate the app on our behalf, including our application hosting provider and Google (for Google sign-in). These providers process data only to deliver the service. We do not share your uploaded content with anyone else except as required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls, and other standard safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual documents, videos, and reminders at any time within the app. You can also delete your account and all associated data using the in-app account deletion option, or by contacting us at the email below. Once deleted, your data is removed from the active service.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Scallywop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and we will notify you of significant changes within the app where practicable.
